sustainable urban community design studio

This week was really about finalizing our design in sereral ways. It was important for us to make it a goal to coem up with a solid floorplan that could be adjusted in the upcoming week. We made sure to work together and combine our ideas to meet our needs in the areas of architecture and interior design.

The process of space-planning and layout was definitley a challenge. We had to keep in mind the site plan, parking, space-planning development, pathways, and general circulation and wayfinding in the space. It was fun to work as a team and come up with a more concrete plan than last week. In a little more than five days, we were able to solidify our building form, floorplan, building on site plan, and parking this week. Our next goal is to tackle the finalization of the floorplan, along with the parking and pathways. We hope that this week during our review, we will get some positive input on changes that will be beneficial to our current design.
